New Lancaster County Radio System
Lancaster County-Wide Communications (www.lcwc911.us) has started the migration over to the new APCO P25 radio system. Anyone wishing to listen to the new system will need to use a scanner that is APCO P25 Phase 2 compliant. Conventional scanners cannot be used to decode and listen to the new system. The following is a list of scanners that are known to be compliant.

Ammonium Nitrate - Safety & Security Guidelines
In the wake of the West, Texas, fertilizer plant explosion involving ammonium nitrate, The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) has worked to continue on-going education within the fertilizer retail industry on proper storage of ammonium nitrate.
One of those efforts involved the development of the "Safety and Security Guidelines for the Storage and Transportation of Fertilizer Grade Ammonium Nitrate at Retail Facilities." The guidance was developed by TFI and the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA).
